Hello! I am Amanda Plumb, MA, LPC.  I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who offers individual therapy. My role is to help my clients to process negative experiences that hold them back, and provide them with strategies to help them find inner peace and their authentic self. My areas of expertise include the list below. I also specialize in treating survivors of abuse, Acute Stress, Grief/Loss, and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, as well as,  trauma. I believe therapy is a collaborative relationship in which my clients are treated as a person (you are not a number here!) with dignity and respect. I am clinically trained, as well as, trauma trained.  I am a member of the American Counseling Association (ACA) and the International Association of Trauma Professionals (IATP), as well as,  the American Counseling Association and I am a Diplomat with The American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress and Crisis (DAAETS). I utilize evidence-based treatment to provide a private and emotionally safe healing environment for my clients.
